How LOOT works

A coin launched on pump.fun names one Fortnite player in its description. Its creator fees are turned into V-Bucks, the V-Bucks buy items from that day’s Item Shop, and the items are gifted straight into the player’s locker. This page is the full spec, including the parts that aren’t live yet.

At a glance

Pick a playerAny Fortnite player. A creator code confirms their Epic account with Epic itself.
Launch the coinOn pump.fun, with the pairing line as the last line of its description.
Fees pile upThe coin’s creator fees collect in LOOT’s fee wallet, per coin, in the open.
Fees become V-BucksBought in Epic’s own V-Bucks packs at US prices.
V-Bucks become lootItems from that day’s Item Shop, sent in drop rounds every 5 minutes.
Loot landsIn the player’s locker as a gift from LOOT. Nothing to claim.

Words

Pairing lineThe last line of a coin’s description: fees to epic:<username> via LOOT. It names the player and can’t be edited after launch.
PileA coin’s fees that haven’t become gifts yet, tracked per coin in SOL.
DropOne Item Shop gift sent to a paired player’s locker.
Drop roundEvery 5 minutes. Each round sends gifts to players whose pile covers an item in today’s shop.
LockerWhere a Fortnite player’s cosmetics live. Gifts show up there with a message from the sender.
Creator codeEpic’s Support-A-Creator code. LOOT uses it to confirm which Epic account a player owns.
The waitFortnite only lets you gift someone who’s been your friend for 2 days. Until then, a pile waits.
BurnWhat a pile does if its player doesn’t accept within 24 hours, or says no: it buys back the same coin and burns it.

Launch guide

  1. Pick the player. On the home page, tap a player card or search. If they have a creator code, Launch a coin checks it with Epic and fills in their exact Epic name. If not, type the Epic name exactly as it shows in Fortnite.
  2. Name the coin. Name, ticker, image and description. The image never leaves your browser.
  3. Copy the description. “Copy description & open pump.fun” copies your description with the pairing line added as the last line.
  4. Launch on pump.fun. Paste the description, add the same name, ticker and image, and launch.
  5. Share the creator fee. In pump.fun’s fee sharing, send 100% of the coin’s creator fee to LOOT’s fee wallet. That address is published with $LOOT’s contract address. Until it is, a coin can carry a pairing line but its fees can’t route.
  6. Check it. Paste the coin’s address into the coin checker below. It reads the pairing line back from the chain.

The pairing line

The whole pairing is one line, and it has to be the last line of the coin’s description:

fees to epic:Ninja via LOOT

PartRule
fees to epic:Fixed text. Capital letters don’t matter.
Epic name3–32 characters: letters, numbers, spaces, dots, dashes, underscores. Spaces are kept, so Nick Eh 30 is one name. Clan tags are part of the name if Epic shows them.
via LOOTFixed text, ends the line.
Frozenpump.fun doesn’t let a description change after launch, so nobody, LOOT included, can move a coin’s loot to someone else.
LineValid?
fees to epic:Nick Eh 30 via LOOTYes
Fees to Epic:DrLupo via lootYes, case doesn’t matter
fees to @Ninja via LOOTNo, missing epic:
fees to epic:NinjaNo, missing via LOOT

Who can get loot

Any Fortnite player with an Epic account. There are two ways to name them:

The players on the home page are 38 public Fortnite creators, including two former Fortnite pros who now trade memecoins (tagged Crypto). Their follower counts were read from X on 26 September 2026 and are re-read live whenever you open a player. Their creator codes were checked with Epic the same day. None of them have been contacted and none endorse anything.

Anyone not on the list works the same way: search their X handle or creator code on the home page.

Fortnite’s gifting rules

These are Epic’s rules, and LOOT is built around them (Epic support):

RuleWhat it means for LOOT
The sender needs two-factor login and account level 2+LOOT’s Epic account has both.
The receiver must be on the sender’s friends list for 2 daysThe player accepts one friend request. The first drop can land 2 days later.
5 gifts per 24 hours per sender accountDrop rounds run every 5 minutes and send while a gifting slot is free.
Only items in today’s Item ShopThe gift list is always the live shop.
V-Bucks, Crew and event passes can’t be giftedFees buy items, never V-Bucks for the player.
Bundles can’t go to someone who owns part of themLOOT skips anything they already own.

Loot math

From SOL to V-Bucks

  1. Fees in USD = fees in SOL × the SOL price (live from Coinbase, CoinGecko or Jupiter).
  2. The USD buys as many V-Bucks as possible in Epic’s US packs: 800 for $8.99, 2,400 for $22.99, 4,500 for $36.99, 12,500 for $89.99 (prices since 19 March 2026). Big packs first, then the best mix of small ones for what’s left.
  3. Whatever doesn’t buy a whole pack stays in the pile for next time.
FeesAt $120 a SOLPacksV-Bucks
0.1 SOL$12.001 × 800800
0.5 SOL$60.001 × 4,500 + 1 × 2,4006,900
1 SOL$120.001 × 12,500 + 1 × 2,40014,900
2 SOL$240.002 × 12,500 + 1 × 4,500 + 1 × 2,40031,900
10 SOL$1,200.0013 × 12,500 + 1 × 2,400164,900

From an item to SOL

Tap any item in the shop and LOOT finds the cheapest packs that cover it. A 500 or 800 V-Buck item needs one 800 pack ($8.99, about 0.075 SOL at $120). A 1,500 outfit needs two 800 packs ($17.98). A 2,000 outfit needs one 2,400 pack ($22.99, about 0.19 SOL).

From V-Bucks to gifts

LOOT fills a pile’s V-Bucks with items from today’s shop, most expensive first, skipping anything the player owns. Loot math runs this on the real shop every time you drag the slider.

Fees & cuts

HandCut
pump.funIts own trading fee. The creator fee is the part that becomes loot.
Selling SOL for USDThe exchange’s fee, shown on each drop post.
EpicThe V-Bucks pack price. Smaller packs cost more per V-Buck (800 for $8.99 is about 1.12¢ each; 12,500 for $89.99 is about 0.72¢).

Verify a drop

Find the postEvery drop is posted with the item, the V-Bucks spent, the coin and the time.
Match the walletThe fee wallet’s outflow for that coin is on Solscan at the same time.
Match the lockerThe gift receipt in the post shows the player’s Epic name and the item.

Trust & safety

The trust hole

Gifting can’t be done by a smart contract. A person runs LOOT’s Epic account, buys the V-Bucks and presses send. So there’s a gap between the fee wallet (public on Solana) and the locker (visible only in Fortnite).

How you’d see it if something went wrong: fees would leave the fee wallet with no matching drop post, or drop posts would appear without a matching outflow. Both sides are public, so the gap would be too.

FAQ

Does the player have to do anything?
No wallet, no sign-up, nothing to claim. The only step is Fortnite’s own rule: gifts can only go to friends, so they accept LOOT’s friend request once.
Can the player get V-Bucks directly?
No. Fortnite doesn’t allow gifting V-Bucks. The V-Bucks from a coin’s fees buy Item Shop items, and the items are gifted.
Can one player have many coins?
Yes. Each coin keeps its own pile. Drops from all of them share the same rounds and the same gifting limit.
What if the item they’d get is already in their locker?
It’s skipped and the next item that fits is picked instead.
What happens to V-Bucks left over?
They stay with that player’s pile and count toward the next drop.
Where does the shop data come from?
fortnite-api.com, a public mirror of Epic’s Item Shop, refreshed every 10 minutes.
